Women's Rights; Milestones Reached

Women's rights are the fundamental human rights that were preserved by the United Nations for every human being on the planet around 70 years ago. These rights include the right to live free from violence, slavery, and discrimination, to be educated, to own property, to vote, the right to bodily integrity and autonomy, to hold public office, to enter into legal contracts, to have equal rights in family law, to work, to fair wages or equal pay and to have reproductive rights. This is the global idea for all women! These rights were passed by Congress June 4, 1919, and ratified on August 18, 1920. The 19th Amendment granted women the right to vote. The ancestors and predecessors achieved the milestone that required a lengthy and difficult struggle, as victory took decades of agitation and protest, for the future of these little girls.
